Mia Copeland-Brock

Mia Copeland-Brock is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a diverse clinical background in emergency nursing, primary care, and community mental health.

Her interest in mental health began during her undergraduate studies at Smith College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She later completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mia has experience treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions in adult populations, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Her approach to mental health care is holistic and informed by the belief that a person's intersectional identity plays a critical role in shaping their treatment experience.

She is dedicated to serving a diverse clientele and is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have faced adversity or marginalization.

RMV Evaluations with Mia Copeland-Brock

Mia completes RMV-required evaluations for adults by secure video or in person at our Medway office. That includes the RMV Substance Abuse Evaluation with Risk of Recidivism required after an OUI, DUI, Immediate Threat or ignition interlock case, and the RMV Psychiatric Evaluation (Form MAB118) requested by RMV Medical Affairs.

Massachusetts requires Form MAB118 to be completed by a licensed physician or a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and Mia is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Her background in emergency nursing, primary care and community mental health, along with her experience treating PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder and anxiety, informs the history-taking, treatment review and clinical opinion at the center of every RMV evaluation.

Our RMV evaluations are approved by the Massachusetts RMV and can be completed in as little as 48 hours when a hearing or deadline is close. Results are reported directly to the RMV, and we coordinate dates and documents with your attorney. RMV evaluations are self-pay.
