RMV Evaluations for Your Clients

Greater Boston Psychiatric Services completes the two evaluations the Massachusetts RMV most often requires for license reinstatement. Refer a client and we contact them directly to schedule, by secure video anywhere in Massachusetts or in person at our office in Medway.

 

The Evaluations

• Substance Abuse Evaluation with Risk of Recidivism Assessment: the most common RMV requirement after an OUI, DUI or Immediate Threat suspension (substance abuse evaluation details).

• RMV Psychiatric Evaluation (Form MAB118): requested by RMV Medical Affairs when there are concerns about a driver's mental health or medications (psychiatric evaluation details).

• Either evaluation: $450

• Both evaluations together: $525

• Expedited scheduling (add-on): +$225

• Self-pay only. RMV evaluations are a legal requirement, so they are not billed to insurance.

How to Refer a Client

2. We contact your client directly to schedule the evaluation.

3. We complete the evaluation and report the results directly to the RMV.

Please share contact details and date of birth only. We use them to start a chart in our electronic medical record, which is how your client gets into our system. Do not include clinical details; we collect what we need securely at intake.
