Caryn Metzger is the owner of Greater Boston Psychiatric Services, opening the practice in September 2016. Caryn is a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with more than 15 years of psychiatric nursing experience. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Caryn completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Northeastern University.
Caryn has expertise in psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with a particular interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Caryn takes a multi-faceted approach to client care, including education, collaboration, and a focus on the "whole person" in order to help them improve their lives and sustain their progress.
