In Person or by Video from Taunton

Many Taunton patients choose secure video from home or work. If you'd rather meet face to face, our office is at 165 Main Street (Route 109), Suite 111A, Medway, MA 02053, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What Ongoing Medication Management Looks Like

Medication management is regular follow-up care with a board-certified psychiatric clinician who knows your history. Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes, more frequent while your medication is being adjusted and less frequent once things are stable.

  • Reviewing how your medication is working and any side effects

  • Adjusting doses or changing medications when needed

  • Coordinating lab work at a lab near you, with results sent to our office

  • Sending prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy of choice

  • Coordinating with your therapist or primary care provider, with your consent

Switching Your Care to Us

If you are already on psychiatric medication and need a new prescriber, we can usually take over your care. Bring your current medication list and any recent records to your first appointment, and your clinician will review everything before making any changes.

How It Works

  1. Complete the quick form and let us know you need medication management.

  2. Start with an evaluation, typically within days, so your clinician understands your full history.

  3. Follow up regularly by secure video or at our Medway office.

  4. Adjust as needed. Prescriptions and lab orders are handled electronically.

Insurance and Cost

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Optum, Tufts Health Plan, Wellpoint, UnitedHealthcare, HPI, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, Carelon, UMR and UniCare. With in-network coverage you are typically responsible only for your plan's copay, coinsurance or remaining deductible, whether your visit is by video or in person.

Self-pay is also available, and self-pay rates are provided when you book. We are not able to bill Medicare, Medicaid or supplemental plans. See insurance and payment and our Good Faith Estimate for details.

ADHD Medication and Controlled Substances

Some medications, including ADHD stimulants and other controlled substances, are prescribed on a case-by-case basis. That decision depends on your evaluation, your history and records, and the state and federal rules that apply to telehealth prescribing, and in some cases an in-person visit may be needed. Your clinician will talk through the options that are appropriate and safe for you, including non-controlled alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to come in from Taunton for follow-ups?

No. Taunton patients can complete every appointment by secure video. In-person visits are available at our Medway office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

How quickly can I be seen?

New patients are typically seen within days. Complete the quick form and we will reach out to schedule.

How often are medication management visits?

Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes. They are more frequent while your medication is being adjusted and less frequent once things are stable.

Can you take over my current medication management?

In many cases, yes. Bring your current medication list and any recent records to your first appointment.

Can a psychiatric nurse practitioner prescribe medication?

Yes. Our board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists are licensed in Massachusetts to evaluate, diagnose and prescribe psychiatric medication.

Do you prescribe Adderall or other ADHD medications?

ADHD medications, including stimulants, are prescribed case by case based on your evaluation, history and the rules that apply to telehealth prescribing. Some patients may need an in-person visit or prior records first. Your clinician will discuss what is appropriate for you.

Is a video appointment as effective as an in-person visit?

For most adults and most conditions, yes. The history-taking, diagnostic process and confidentiality are the same. If your clinician feels in-person care would serve you better, they will tell you.

We focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. We coordinate with your therapist, or can help with a referral if you need one.

What ages do you see?

Adults 18 and older.

Is this for emergencies?

No. If you are in crisis, call 911 or call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
