What an Online Psychiatric Evaluation Includes
Your first appointment is a comprehensive conversation with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist. We'll discuss your personal and family history, current symptoms, any previous treatment or medications, and what you're hoping to get out of care. From there, we work with you to build a treatment plan targeted at your specific symptoms — which may include medication, a referral to a therapist, or both.
We provide telehealth evaluations for adults age 18 and older for depression, anxiety and panic disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, sleep disturbance, and mood or emotional regulation concerns. Every appointment is conducted by secure video, so there's no waiting room and no commute.

Is this appropriate for a first-time mental health evaluation, or only for people already on medication?
Both. Many patients come to us for a first psychiatric evaluation; others are transferring care or looking to reassess an existing diagnosis and treatment plan.
Is telehealth actually as effective as an in-person evaluation?
For most adults and most of the conditions we treat, yes — a telehealth evaluation follows the same clinical process as an in-person one. In situations involving higher risk or more complex medical needs, your clinician may recommend a different level of care.
Do you provide therapy, or only medication?
Our focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. We don't provide therapy directly, but we're glad to coordinate with a therapist you're already seeing, or point you toward one if you'd like a referral.
What ages do you see?
We provide care for adults age 18 and older. We do not currently treat children or adolescents.
What if I'm unsure whether medication is right for me?
That's exactly what the evaluation is for — it's a conversation, not a predetermined outcome. Your clinician will walk through options with you, and medication is only one possible next step.
